My mission is to help institutions advance organizational excellence and social innovation to navigate an increasingly complex landscape and meet the evolving needs of their diverse stakeholders.

Dr. Brandon L. Wolfe is a consultant, executive, trained organizational sociologist, and educator with over 20 years of experience leveraging data-driven insights to drive human and community-centered approaches that help institutions navigate complexity, scale sustainably, and achieve impactful outcomes. He has designed equity-centered frameworks and customized strategies tailored to business goals, created and implemented strategic plans, and conducted institutional assessments leading to cutting-edge visualizations and communication practices to optimize storytelling, build consensus, and maintain stakeholder engagement. As a scholar, Wolfe taught hundreds of workshops and training sessions, developed courses, authored articles, a book chapter, and several practitioner guides to support talent development and skills building.

Wolfe’s work is guided by a commitment to accountability, sustainability, and continuous innovation. He believes in the power of unity, shared responsibility, and compassion, which fosters hope, resilience, and empowerment. These values drive his efforts to close disparity gaps, enhance internal operations, build partnerships, and create inclusive systems that deliver meaningful, lasting impact while strengthening public perceptions and brand recognition.

Wolfe’s success has opened doors to opportunities with organizations across multiple industries, from higher education and community non-profits to healthcare, government, professional organizations, and publicly traded companies. As a diversity, equity, and inclusion expert, organizational strategy, and social innovation thought leader, he is a reviewer for several research journals. He served on numerous agency boards—including the Regions Institute for Financial Education, UAB Medicine Health Equality Index, Birmingham Civil Rights Institute Affinity Board, STREAM Innovations, Urban Impact, Inc., and Thrive Liberation Community Center. Building on this experience, Wolfe launched BrainTrust, LLC, a strategic consulting agency dedicated to helping organizations navigate complex challenges and drive meaningful change.

Wolfe holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education Administration with a concentration in Organizational Theory, Leadership, and Socialization, a Master of Education in Adult Education, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Auburn University. My advanced training includes fellowships and programs with the Peabody Professional Practice Institute, the American Association of Blacks in Higher Education, NADOHE’s Standards for Professional Practice Institute, the Chief Diversity Officer Fellows Program, and Harvard Business School’s Young American Leaders Program. He is a proud AmeriCorps alum and an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.
